Welcome

Our intention is to cultivate welcoming spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, one another, and embodied practice. To help create a safe, respectful, and supportive experience for everyone, we ask that all participants review and agree to the following Participant Agreement before participating in Intera Yoga classes, workshops, trainings, private sessions, retreats, community events, or other offerings.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in yoga, movement, meditation, breath awareness, mindfulness practices, workshops, trainings, and other wellness activities involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, muscle strains, sprains, falls, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, emotional responses, illness, property loss or damage, and other physical or psychological injuries, whether known or unknown.

I voluntarily choose to participate in these activities and knowingly assume the inherent risks associated with my participation.

Personal Responsibility

I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own participation and well-being.

I understand that I am responsible for determining what level of participation feels appropriate for me. I may choose to modify, pause, decline any invitation, rest, or discontinue participation at any time.

 

I understand that Intera Yoga instructors cannot know my personal health history unless I choose to share it, and I will communicate any injuries, limitations, medical conditions, or concerns that may affect my participation as appropriate.

 

Medical Disclaimer

I understand that Intera Yoga instructors are not physicians, psychologists, physical therapists, or other licensed healthcare providers acting in those professional capacities during classes or events.

The instruction provided by Intera Yoga is educational in nature and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.

​

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with an appropriate healthcare provider regarding any condition that may affect my participation.

​

Emotional Well-Being

I understand that yoga, mindfulness, and other embodied practices may sometimes evoke emotional responses.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own emotional and physical well-being during and after participation and may choose to pause, modify, or discontinue participation at any time.

Accessibility & Choice

Intera Yoga strives to create accessible, welcoming, and inclusive spaces while recognizing that every offering is different.

I understand that I am responsible for making choices that support my own body, needs, and well-being throughout my participation.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I voluntarily release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Intera Yoga LLC, its owners, managers, employees, contractors, instructors, volunteers, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, actions, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to my participation in Intera Yoga activities, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, property loss, or death, except where caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct as prohibited by applicable law.

I understand that some Intera Yoga offerings may take place at independently owned host venues. I agree to comply with any applicable venue policies and understand that certain venues may require an additional venue-specific agreement before participation.

 

Emergency Medical Care

In the event of an emergency during my participation, I authorize Intera Yoga LLC, its instructors, staff, or volunteers to seek emergency medical care on my behalf if I am unable to do so.

 

I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical expenses.

Personal Property

I understand that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings while participating in Intera Yoga offerings. Intera Yoga LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

​

Photography & Video

Photography and video permissions are addressed separately as part of the Intera Yoga Participant Agreement form. I understand that Intera Yoga will honor the preferences I select regarding the use of my image for promotional purposes.

​

Minors

Participants under the age of eighteen (18) must have this agreement completed by a parent or legal guardian unless otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Acknowledgment

By signing the Intera Yoga Participant Agreement, I acknowledge that:

• I have carefully read and understand this Participant Agreement & Liability Waiver.

• I understand that I am giving up certain legal rights by agreeing to these terms.

• I voluntarily choose to participate in Intera Yoga offerings.

• I voluntarily agree to be legally bound by this agreement.

• I understand that this agreement applies to my participation in all Intera Yoga classes, workshops, trainings, private sessions, retreats, community events, and other offerings unless superseded by a future written agreement.
